Don’t Fold ~ Tomorrow Needs You

Let’s have a Poker Run someone said….sure we can do that, I responded, will you help plan it? Oh no, I am far to busy, but I bet you can pull it off. Challenge accepted, let’s raise some money.

That is how the event this year kicked of it’s planning, This event coincides with both Mental Health Awareness Month and lands on the BIGGEST Jeep event of the year: Go Topless Day. Extreme Terrain will match money raised up to $500, so let’s take their money!

We start the day in Deer Creek at K & M Village Tap, have a photo opportunity at a popular local spot. Then we head to Pub 52 in Mackinaw for a unique way to shoot the next card. After that experience we will stop at the Danvers Y for a refreshment and a prize or two. From there we head to McLean, to visit a place that will either bring back childhood memories or be something like you’ve never seen before; bring your quarters and enjoy a game or two at Arcadia, in McLean. Finally Tailgaters Pub in Le Roy will have a spaghetti dinner waiting for us, as well as karaoke, if you dare.

Of course, as is our tradition, we will hold the Drive Out of the Darkness, a moment of silence when the Jeeps will shine all of their lights supporting those we have lost and those that struggle daily.

Poker Run Rules

Each Jeep will donate $20 for the driver and $5 for each passenger (under 10 years old free). The money collected is then divided in half. Half for the charity and half to the winning hand are end of the day. Tiebreaker is a cut of the deck, high card wins.

Each Jeep will have a sheet to track their hand. Jeeps Against Suicide is not responsible for sheets lost in the wind.

Each Jeep will draw 1 card at each location.

T-Shirt Pre-sales are NOT being offered this year, but we will have a limited number of event shirts and Go Topless Day Shirts. Order Forms will be available if Event shirts sell out and you still want one.

NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL ALLOWED at the Tailgators Pub.

End Point Host may be paying for the entertainment , so while you may have an awesome sound system, playing it during the event will result in being asked to leave. PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE TO THOSE IN ATTENDANCE AND THOSE WHO HAVE WORKED HARD TO PLAN IN IT. By purchasing tickets you agree to these terms.

Proceeds Benefitting AFSP.org and Jeeps Against Suicide both registered 501(c)3 charities.
